FREKANS ACOUSTICS and ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORY founded in Ankara, Turkey in 2009. We perform consultancy on acoustical engineering and noise control as well as conduct measurements for industrial and commercial clients. Our company is authorized by Ministry of Environment of Turkey and accredited by Turkak which is the national accreditation delegate of ILAC.

The accreditation certificate of our laboratory covers a large scope of standards related to environmental noise including airport noise modeling, railway noise modeling, highway noise modeling and industrial measurements and modeling.

Frekans Acoustics primarily focus on noise control for indoor noise, outdoor noise and vibration problems. We recommend options for mitigation of noise impact by performing tests, calculations and simulations to determine the effect of a noise source on the environment and noise sensitive regions.

Noise reduction process can be realized in three different ways; at the source of the noise, between the source and the receiver and in some cases at the receiver. Environmental noise sources can be classified as steady sources and unsteady sources. Traffic noise of roads, airplanes and trains, and noise from industrial and entertainment facilities are unsteady sound sources.

In order to satisfy legal limits and human comfort, barriers, semi closed and closed cells, mufflers are optimized according to receiver conditions.
